What types of engagements does Andrew accept?
Andrew is available as guest conductor for symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera companies. He also undertakes music directorship, recording projects, festival and workshop leadership, educational residencies, and world premieres of contemporary works. Recent collaborators include soloists such as Stephen Hough, Jennifer Pike, and Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
How far in advance should I book?
For orchestral concert seasons and guest conducting engagements, 6–12 months’ notice is ideal to allow for programme planning and rehearsal scheduling. Festival and educational projects are typically planned 3–9 months ahead. For urgent requirements, please get in touch and Andrew will do his best to accommodate.
Does Andrew travel internationally?
Yes. Andrew is based in London and conducts throughout the UK, but he regularly works abroad — most notably as Artistic Director of the European Youth Music Week in Germany. He welcomes international guest conducting invitations from orchestras and festivals worldwide.
